Implementation Trends in Animal Testing Alternatives for Quality Control of Biologicals
Recently, Europe and other countries have been preparing to replace animal testing with non-animal testing methods used in the quality control of drug products. In light of this, the Humane Society International-National Institute of Food and Drug Safety Evaluation workshop will focus on sharing trends in alternatives to animal testing by WHO, EDQM, National Control Laboratories and national regulatory authorities, and will explore response strategies for biopharmaceutical quality control in Korea.
